1 in custody after report of person with gun on UMD campus
DULUTH, Minn. (FOX 9) - A person is in custody after University of Minnesota - Duluth alerted students of a possible person with a gun on campus, according to a university tweet.
In a SafeU alert, officials stated there was a report of a person with a gun at the medical or pharmacy school. Officials asked students to leave the area or shelter in place.
About 20 minutes later, another alert said a person was in custody and there was no longer a threat.
The university will be notifying the campus with more details.
