1 dead, 3 injured in T-bone crash near Comfrey, Minn.

COMFREY, Minn. (KMSP) - A 82-year-old woman has died after her vehicle was T-boned by a minivan Thursday evening near Comfrey, Minn., according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened at 5:56 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 17 and County Road 5 west of Comfrey.
A 2013 Chrysler van driven by an 80-year-old Windom woman broadsided a 2011 Buick Lucerne. The Buick's driver, 82-year-old Lois Birkemeyer of Comfrey, was airlifted to a hospital in Rochester, but she later died from her injuries.
Ambulances took all three people who were in the minivan to a hospital in Springfield. A 54-year-old male passenger was later taken to a hospital in Mankato.
Both vehicles are a total loss.
The crash is under investigation.
