1 dead, 1 in custody after shooting at Plymouth, Minn. home
PLYMOUTH, Minn. (KMSP) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a home in Plymouth, Minnesota late Sunday evening.
At 11:11 p.m., officers were called to the 3100 block of Walnut Grove Lane on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they were met by the suspect at the front door. The suspect was later taken into custody.
Officers located a 42-year-old man inside who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he died Monday morning.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will identify the victim and their cause of death.
The suspect is cooperating with police. Police say there is no threat to the public.
The incident remains under investigation.
