Sunday-Monday forecast

Big picture view:

Our weather won’t be as gusty as it was on Saturday.

Sunday is actually shaping up to be the mildest of this whole forecast.

Highs will make it into the 30s with some reaching near or just above 40 degrees this afternoon.

Snow moves into the state late in the evening and slides eastward tonight through Monday morning.

This band of snow may drop around 1–3 degrees of new snow and set up around north-central Minnesota.

The Twin Cities may see some of this snow, with the northern suburbs having a better chance of accumulating snow.

Those who pick up the fresh snow will have a slower drive to work on Monday.

Monday will be a lot cooler with temperatures staying fairly steady all day.

Rest of the work week

What's next:

We turn chilly after the fresh snow. Tuesday’s highs are likely to stay in the teens with a few flurries falling from the cloud deck here and there.

Wednesday starts off quiet, but another wave of snow looks possible late in the day and into Wednesday night.

The rest of the work week stays seasonable or just below average with highs reaching the lower 20s on Thursday and Friday.
