Minnesota weather: Calm Friday before isolated storms Saturday

Friday will be a beautiful and warm day, but we could see our next round of storms this weekend.

Most of Minnesota will stay dry Friday with temperatures in the 80s, but western Minnesota could see a few isolated showers in the afternoon.

Friday will have a mixture of clouds and sunshine in the Twin Cities, but the cloud coverage will increase in the overnight hours, bringing chances for isolated storms and showers.

The rainy weather is sticking around Saturday with chances of isolated rumbles and rain throughout the day. However, Saturday won’t be a total washout and the storms won’t be severe. Temperatures will be in the low 80s.

Sunday will be slightly cooler with highs in the 70s and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures heat back up for the week ahead.
