Lisa Tejero and Sango Tajima perform in the Guthrie Theater's production of Metamorphoses

It's not often you get a chance to see the Guthrie Theater's famed thrust stage turned into a large pool of water.  But splashing into view this spring, is a ravishing production of Tony-award winning Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses.

The ensemble brings Roman poet Ovid's powerful pieces to life in and around 1,500 gallons of water (kept at a comfortable 100 degrees).

Two stars of the production, Lisa Tejero and Rodney Gardiner, stopped by The Buzz to talk about their work and the challenges of such a wet show. You can watch their appearance above.

Metamorphoses runs at the Guthrie through May 19.  Tickets and more information can be found at guthrietheater.org
