Cossetta's spaghetti alla pomodoro

serves 2


1 pound cooked pasta or half a pound of uncooked pasta

1/2 liquid oz chopped garlic mixed with olive oil

8 liquid oz Cossetta's Marinara

6 oz peeled whole seeded tomatoes diced

1/4 oz chopped basil

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/16 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 liquid oz extra virgin olive oil


1. Cook pasta until al dente in pasta water that has olive oil and salt (tip: 3 tablespoons of olive oil to 1 tablespoon of salt)

2. In a sauté pan, add oil and garlic mix, and sauté for about 20 seconds

3. Add diced tomatoes, marinara, salt, and chopped basil. Let cook for a minute to combine flavors

4. Toss in pasta and mix until pasta is coated with the sauce

5. Sprinkle with black pepper and drizzle the extra virgin olive oil
