Best places to eat during the Ryder Cup

If you’re heading out to the Ryder Cup and didn’t get your club-access pass, you might leave feeling a bit hungry. Fear not, there are plenty of great local eating and drinking spots around Hazeltine. Get out for a Carver County Crawl!

CHASKA

Crooked Pint Alehouse probably has the best craft beer selection in town, and they’re attached to the new curling center so you can continue your sporting spectating.

Patron Mexican Bar & Grill has great margaritas and happy hour specials. The service is friendly and the guacamole is fresh-made.

Tommy’s Malt Shop down by the river has legit shakes, plus great hand-formed burgers, cheese curds, and tots!

VICTORIA

Floyd’s Bar is a very chill and homey bar, with one of the best bloodies in the state, it’s like a meal. Plus they have great grilled wings by the pound and a great patio.

Enki Brewing is a great small-town brewery with some great beers on tap. Grab a growler before you leave.

Victoria House is like the supper club you want in your neighborhood.

EXCELSIOR

The whole town is throwing a Lake Minnetonka Block Party in town this weekend, there will be live music, shuttles to and from the course, plus a jumbotron to watch the fun.

This Friday, Excelsior Brewing will be alive with good beer and the best Hall & Oates cover band ever.

Even if you just stroll through town, pop into Lick’s Unlimited for a Superman and Cotton Candy ice cream cone, it’s the sweetest of home town scoop shops.
