Rainy weather in recent weeks is creating a challenge for farmers getting ready for their fall season in Minnesota.

Our broken record of heavy rain continues as much of central and southern Minnesota are water logged again with an additional 2 to 6 or more inches of rain over the last couple of days. 

A section of I-90 in Austin, Minnesota is closed Thursday evening after heavy rains have created flooding for the area.

Rain overnight and Thursday morning dropped another inch or more on much of the Twin Cities metro and Greater Minnesota. 

The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornadoes struck the city of Sioux Falls, South Dakota overnight, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. 

Severe weather, including a possible tornado, struck South Dakota leaving a trail of damaged buildings, powerlines and trees. 

Heavy rains the in the Twin Cities metro overnight brought a fast 0.5-1.5 inches of rain before sunrise. 

It will feel more like summer Tuesday with a bright and humid afternoon and a high around 80 degrees--our first 80-degree day in three weeks. The last 80-degree was back on Aug. 20. 

There is a slight risk of severe weather across the southern half of the Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro, for the later part of the day Monday.
