It will be hot and humid, but we will likely avoid rain this afternoon. Some storms could pop later this evening, but they will be scattered.

Tuesday night could see storms in Northern Minnesota. More of the same Wednesday with highs in the low 90s. And the humidity returns.

Following last week's heat, this week cools a bit (though we'll still hit 90 most likely).

Sunshine and pleasant warmth this afternoon with highs in the mid-80s and dew points in the comfy 50s. Getting a bit humid as we climb to the upper 80s for Tuesday. Some Tuesday night storms bring back the tropical heat for Wednesday, with highs in the low 90s and dew points near 70.

After a wonderful Sunday, there is another spate of muggy weather ahead for the week.

With two Supermoons and the Perseid Meteor Shower on tap, August 2023 will be an excellent month for sky gazing.

If you liked the weather on Saturday, you're in luck. We have another beautiful day in store heading into Sunday. We've kicked the heat and humidity under the influence of high pressure. Northwest flow has kept temperatures a few degrees cooler than average for the weekend, but we will bring in a flow out of the south by mid-week, which will warm temperatures into the upper 80s to low 90s. The end of the month comes with an overwhelmingly quiet weather pattern, with just a few isolated shower chances heading into the beginning of August.

Saturday was beautiful in the Twin Cities, with plenty of sunshine. Overnight temperatures will drop to the low 60s with mostly clear skies. Sunday will be more of the same, with temperatures in the low 80s before they heat back up by mid-week.

The storms that happened Friday evening will clear out to a much more average temperature weekend, but the heat will begin to climb again next week.

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association says 54% of the state's corn crops are rated ?good" to ?excellent" compared to 64% at this time last year, and 38% two years ago.
