How to prepare your car for winter weather

As we get ready for winter, mechanics want to remind us that we need to be paying more attention to our cars, to avoid getting stuck on the side of the road.

Storm drops 6 inches of snow in northern Minnesota, causes crashes to west

While the Twin Cities only saw some flakes, areas to the north and west of the metro were breaking out the snow shovels and plows on Friday. In northern Minnesota, some areas reported several inches of snow, including Chisholm with 6.8 inches. In International Falls, residents saw a reported 4.5 inches while Orr, Minnesota measured two inches of snow.

Sorry snow lovers, this forecast is not for you

There will be some light snow accumulations in West Central Minnesota in the neighborhood of 2 to 3 inches. But for those of you wanting snow in the Twin Cities, this forecast will not supply your winter wonderland.
