Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said Wednesday the team was prepared for the NFL to suspend wide receiver Jordan Addison.

The Minnesota Vikings will be without wide receiver Jordan Addison for the first three weeks of the regular season. He was suspended for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy for a 2024 drunk driving arrest.

Kevin O'Connell spoke with reporters before the Vikings had practice at training camp Friday, and sported a Jared Allen shirt. Allen is being enshrined to the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend.
