MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Minnesota-based athleisure brand UNRL brought together Shooter McGavin, Joe Mauer, John Randle and Urijah Faber for a Super Bowl ad this year.
The backstory:
UNRL's ad builds on last year’s campaign, bringing back Christopher McDonald, the actor who plays Shooter McGavin in "Happy Gilmore", with Minnesota sports legends Joe Mauer and John Randle, and UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber.
The commercial was produced by Capture Film Co. of Minneapolis and shot on location at the Public Domain bar in Minneapolis.
