The Richard Pitino Show Episode 2

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minnesota Gophers men's basketball head coach Richard Pitino joined Fox 9 Sports' Hobie Artigue and KFAN's Justin Gaard for the second episode of The Richard Pitino Show.

Off the bat, Coach Pitino addressed the controversy surrounding Reggie Lynch, who has been suspended following allegations of sexual assault. 

Pitino then reflected on the team's tough loss against Northwestern, losing 83-60.

Gophers forward Michael Hurt also joined the show to discuss what it means to be a Minnesota native playing for Minnesota.

The Gophers are currently 13-5 overall, 2-3 in conference play.

The Gophers next play the Purdue at home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Then the team hits the road to play Penn State on Monday at 6:00 p.m. and Maryland on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
