Adrian Peterson to face tough St. Louis Rams defense

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will face a St. Louis Rams defense on Saturday that hasn’t given up a touchdown in the past 2 games.

To add to the pressure, Peterson and Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley are the only 2 running backs in NFL history to have rushed over 100 yards in 4 of their first 5 career games.

But Peterson is less concerned about out-shining Gurley than he is about out-running the Rams defense, ranked No. 6 in the league, just ahead of the Vikings defense.
