Woman dies after falling off motorcycle in Forest Lake
FOREST LAKE, Minn. (KMSP) - A woman riding on the back of a motorcycle died when she fell off after the bike crashed Friday morning. The accident happened around 4:43 a.m. in Forest Lake along I-35 near Highway 97.
Ena Bhatia, 21, of St. Paul, has been identified as the passenger who fell off.
The driver of the motorcycle, Myles Eckman, 23, of St. Paul, fled the scene of the crash and was later taken into custody.
The State Patrol is investigating what caused the motorcycle to crash.
The relationship of the driver and passenger is unclear.
