Woman dies after being struck by vehicle in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A woman died after being hit by a car Tuesday morning at the intersection of Broadway Avenue West and Sheridan Avenue North, according to Minneapolis police.
Minneapolis Police responded to a call of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle just before 9 a.m.
The woman was transported to North Memorial Medical Center, where she died of her significant injuries Wednesday afternoon.
Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim's name at a later date.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
So far, alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
The crash is still under investigation.
