Two arrested in connection with Fridley murder

Police arrested two suspects in connection with a murder in Fridley, Minn. 

Columbia Heights Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle that had been running for a long time on the 4200 block of 5th Street NE. 

Upon arrival officers discovered the victim, identified as Linda Pa Vue, 29, of St. Paul dead in the backseat. Police said she had “significant injuries.” The official cause of death has yet to be determined. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is performing an autopsy. 

Police arrested Fue Her, 35, of Fridley in connection with the victim’s death. Police said they believe that Her was a companion of the victim. He was booked at the Anoka County Jail for murder in the second degree, but he has not been formally charged. 

Kong Her, the suspect’s brother was also taken into custody. He was booked for aiding an offender, but has not been formally charged either. 

The investigation shows that the murder likely took place in Fridley, despite the body being discovered in Columbia Heights.
