Suspect located after stabbing in Brooklyn Park Wednesday

UPDATE: The suspect in this case has been located and arrested by Brooklyn Park Police Friday. Police are not looking for anyone else in the case, but the investigation is still active and ongoing. 

Brooklyn Park Police are looking for a suspect after he allegedly stabbed a victim multiple times in the head and face Wednesday.

Wednesday, officers responded to the 7500 block of Kentucky Avenue where they found the victim with stab wounds. The suspect, later identified as Junior Lawrence, 21, fled the scene and still has not been located.

Lawrence is believed to be driving a bright blue 2019 Toyota C-HR. The vehicle is believed to have no license plate on it and a yellow temp sticker in the rear window. It may be displaying Minnesota license plate ACT198.

If anyone sees this vehicle, they are asked to call 911. Police are urging residents to not approach Lawrence or contact him on their own.
