Pedestrian in wheelchair fatally struck on Hwy. 55 in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (FOX 9) - The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian in a wheelchair was fatally struck in Plymouth.
According to the state patrol, at about 11 a.m. Monday, authorities responded to a crash at Highway 55 and I-494. Officials learned a pedestrian in a wheelchair was crossing the southbound I-494 off ramp crosswalk when she was struck by a box truck.
The pedestrian was identified as a 39-year-old woman from Loretto, Minnesota.
