St. Clair Broiler restaurant closing after more than 60 years in St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - After opening in 1956, the St. Clair Broiler in St. Paul is closing, it announced on Monday.
The restaurant will close on Sept. 30 after serving the Mac-Groveland neighborhood for so many decades.
Owners wrote that "today's economics make it almost impossible to run a single, independent, family owned and operated restaurant at a profit."
"Many great memories were created at the Broiler through the years. We hold those memories close to our hearts and hope that you will as well. Thank you to all our loyal customers and friends who we've been honored to serve over the six decades since our opening in 1956. We will miss you."
