Shooting in north Minneapolis sends one to hospital

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A shooting in north Minneapolis sent a man to the hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs, according to Minneapolis Police spokesperson Corey Schmidt.
A handgun was recovered from the scene on the 2500 block of Upton Avenue North, but no suspects are in custody, police said.
The victim was transported to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is still under investigation.
