Shakopee police: armed robbery reported at Super America, suspect found

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (KMSP) - Shakopee police say they have found the suspect in an armed robbery, thanks to a tip from a citizen.

The incident happened around 4:25 a.m. on Friday.

Police say a cashier at Super America was robbed at knife point. The suspect got away with cash and took off toward Bluff Drive in Shakopee.

Police describe the suspect as a 20-30 year old male, average height, average build with a dark colored beard and he was wearing a red sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
