Severe thunderstorms travel through southwestern Minnesota

A line of severe thunderstorms is moving through southwestern Minnesota and heading east Saturday evening. 

The National Weather Service is reporting strong winds with the storms, reaching nearly 70 miles per hour.

Dispatch officials at the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office say crews are responding to numerous calls of trees and power lines down. There are no known injuries at this time.
