Semi rollover, diesel leak shuts down County Road 112

LONG LAKE, Minn. (KMSP) - A semi rollover along County Road 112, caused extra delays Wednesday morning for motorists. The County Road is currently an alternate route while crews work to add safety improvements to Highway 12.

The rollover happened on Wayzata Boulevard after a car pulled out in front of the semi. Police shut down the road from County Road 6 to Brown Road. Police say they were also faced with a “possible hazardous materials incident” because liquid was leaking from the semi.
Traffic was diverted to County Road 6 and officers were added to several intersections to try to keep traffic moving as best as possible.
Orono police say County Road 112 will be down to one lane for up to two hours to remove the semi from the crash, which they hope to do before rush hour.
