Search for pickup in Mississippi River called off after report determined unfounded

RAMSEY, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities called off a search of the Mississippi River after determining a report that a pickup truck drove into the water was unfounded, according to Hennepin County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jon Collins.

The Anoka and Hennepin counties sheriff's offices responded to the report of a F-150 driving into the river off Bowers Drive in the City of Ramsey.
