Person found dead outside Chaska apartment building
CHASKA, Minn. (FOX 9) - A person was found dead outside an apartment building in Chaska on Wednesday morning, according to police.
What we know:
Chaska police say at about 8:15 a.m. officers responded to a report of a person lying in the grass near the entrance to an apartment building at 3000 Chestnut St. N.
When police arrived, they determined the person was dead.
The apartment building where the person was found is nearby an area that includes a gas station, gym, and a few restaurants.
Police believe there is no threat to public safety.
What we don't know:
Police are investigating the person's death, but believe there was no foul play.
The person has not been identified.
