Pedestrian hit and killed in Fridley
FRIDLEY, Minn. (KMSP) - A man is dead after being hit by a car in Fridley Friday night.
Fridley Police say around 9:45 they were dispatched to University Avenue Northeast and 81st Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. They say when they arrived, they found the 37-year-old Fridley man dead.
Police say the man was crossing University Avenue on the north side of 81st Avenue when he was hit by a car driving south. The driver of the vehicle stopped and is cooperating with authorities.
