Officers from the Osceola Police Department took time out of their Saturday to attend a 7-year-old’s birthday party.

Brock went to the police station 3 weeks ago to deliver handwritten invitations to the entire department, his mom, Lindsay Jolly, described. Brock wants to be a police officer, and he was even able to put the officers in the back of the squad while he sat up front.

She composed the following Facebook post, thanking the officers for stopping by.

“And then there were 5 officers. What a way for Brock to celebrate turning 7 when the rest of the Osceola Police department stops by. Brock was able to put the officers in the back of the squad while he sat up front

They deserve it, and more than likely are doing things everyday like this that go unnoticed. A simple thank you goes along ways for protecting our communities."
