MISSING: Man last seen July 23 in Deer River, Minn.

DEER RIVER, Minn. (KMSP) - The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department is asking for help finding a missing man who was last seen July 23 in Deer River, Minnesota.
According to police, 35-year-old Franklyn Sherman was last seen at a home in the Winnie Dam area of Deer River, where he left on foot. No one has heard from him since, and authorities are concerned for his welfare.
Sherman is described as 6'01'', 185 pounds with brown eyes and black shoulder length hair. He also has a mole on his left forearm and scars on his arm. He may be wearing glasses.
Sherman is known to spend time at his mother's home in Bemidji, Minn.
