Minneapolis Public Schools cancel all after-school activities Monday
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Minneapolis Public Schools has canceled all after-school acitivities Monday due to the weather.
The school district said the decision was made after ice-covered roads caused significant delays getting students to school Monday morning and throughout the day, as well as the deteriorating weather conditions.
Minneapolis Kids, the district's after-school child care program, will remain open until all kids are picked up.
Adult Community Education classes will continued as schedule unless otherwise arranged by a teacher.
