JetBlue to launch flights between MSP, Boston in May

JetBlue Airways is finally coming to the Twin Cities.

The budget-friendly airline will begin offering three nonstop flights between Boston Logan International Airport and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport starting on May 3.

Flights will be as low as $89 one way. Seats went on sale Tuesday.

Flights between Minneapolis and Boston will be operated on JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft and will have unlimited complimentary snacks, free in-flight Wi-Fi and “the most legroom in coach,” according to a news release. Flights will fly out of Terminal 2 at MSP.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission had been trying to get JetBlue to add MSP Airport to their air service for years. The Twin Cities is the largest domestic market not currently served by the airline.
