A 911 call helped stop a drunk, texting driver on Highway 12 in Independence, Minn., preventing another possible crash on a highway that has been plagued by tragedy.

Thursday afternoon, a driver called 911 to report a car weaving all over the road near Independence, Minn. West Hennepin Public Safety officers located the car, which was crossing over the centerline into oncoming traffic, nearly causing a head on crash.
