Body recovered from water after partially submerged boat found at Mahtomedi park

MAHTOMEDI, Minn. (KMSP) - A Washington County Sheriff's deputy recovered a man's body from the water at a park in Mahtomedi, Minnesota after a partially submerged boat was found, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Wednesday around 3:05 p.m., officials received a report of a small boat partly submerged at Wildwood Park. Some property was also found on the beach, but no one was around. 

The deputy found the man in the water. The 67-year-old Mahtomedi man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case is still under investigation.
