Authorities confirm body found in Mississippi River is Adam Clark, missing New Hope man

Police have identified the body of a man pulled from the Mississippi River Saturday night as 22-year-old Adam Clark of New Hope, who had been missing since Feb. 28

A tow boat operator discovered the body around 7:30 p.m. April 8 on the Washington County side of the river near Grey Cloud Island, according to a release. Clark was last seen near Minnehaha Falls and Ford Parkway.

Suzanne Hagen, Clark's mother, said she is grateful for the support she received during the search.

“I would definitely like to thank everyone," she said. "All of the support I have been receiving has been amazing. And I’m sure Adam would have appreciated it.”
