75-year-old woman killed after teen driver runs stop sign
FOREST PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KMSP) - A 75-year-old woman is dead after a crash in Meeker County Tuesday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Dodge Avenger was traveling northbound on Country Road 34 near Forest Prairie Township around 8:55 p.m. The driver, a 16-year-old girl, ran the stop sign at the intersection with Highway 55 and collided with a Dodge Caravan.
The driver of the Dodge Caravan, a 75-year-old woman, was killed in the accident. The other driver and her passenger, a 15-year-old girl, were transported to the hospital with injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
