3 killed in 2-car crash in western Minnesota
BENSON, Minn. (KMSP) - Three people were killed in a two-car crash in western Minnesota over the weekend.
The crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m. southeast of Benson. A 49-year-old driver was just entering the intersection when another driver, identified as Dylan Peterson, 24, failed to obey the yield at intersection of 20th Avenue Southeast and 30th Street Southeast.
Peterson and both of his passengers were killed in the crash. The other victims have been identified as Austin Ardoff, 23, of Raymond and Autumn Mclain, 23, of Willmar.
The accident remains under investigation. Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
