A vigil will be held on Tuesday evening for 3 children, Latorious, 6, Latora, 5 and Latorianna, 1, who died after a tragic house fire in Minneapolis late Saturday night.

Minneapolis Fire Department officials believe the fire initially started in the kitchen and their mother said she had left the oven door open for heat.

Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Penn Ave N. shortly before midnight. Firefighters said the first floor was completely engulfed when they arrived.

The family just moved in on Saturday and there was no furniture in the house.

Fire crews recovered all three children from inside the home. One of the children was transported to the hospital but did not survive; the other two passed away on scene. No firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
