MINNETONKA, Minn. (KMSP) - Minnetonka police are warning residents to lock their vehicle doors and secure their garages after a rash of burglaries that happened over the course of just a few days.
Police say there have been 12 burglaries reports from June 4 to 6 throughout the city. Half of the burglaries happened Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
In each case, suspects went into an unlocked vehicle and used garage door openers to get into the homes or garages. The suspects took wallets, purses and other items.
Police are asking residents to report any suspicious activity.
