An artic front has pushed through, bringing temperatures back below average. Expect a chilly start on Tuesday, with temperatures in the metro just above 0 degrees and wind chills in the teens and 20s below zero.
Temperatures will warm slightly, reaching the teens in central and southern Minnesota, and the single digits in northern regions. The Twin Cities metro daytime high is 13 degrees.
It will be a fairly tranquil day as filtered sunshine gives way to an increase in cloud cover. Expect a light breeze from northerly winds at 5-10 mph. The clouds will linger Tuesday night, with temperatures holding steady in the lower teens.

By Wednesday, temperatures are back in the mid to upper 20s, with snow chances developing later in the day, primarily north of the I-94 corridor.
Skies clear on Thursday, bringing plenty of sunshine but colder temperatures. Another round of snow is possible from Friday night into Saturday, followed by even colder temperatures heading into next week.
