Local love: Wood from the Hood turns old trees into artisan crafts

(KMSP) - A local company is turning old trees into beautiful pieces of art.

Wood from the Hood takes trees that were already coming down, for one reason or another, and turns them into coasters, cutting boards, tables and more. The company has also done tables for several local breweries. They feel that each tree has a story and they hope to tell that story through other products.
