Grab the umbrella — this weekend is going to be soggy.

While no record lows have been broken this month — although we were certainly close on a couple of occasions— the persistence of our cool and showery conditions have led many of us to question why we live here.

As freezing temperatures are finally leaving the Twin Cities, this spring has felt more like an extended winter for many, but a bonus to the extended cold will be a delayed start to experiencing mosquitoes.

After another shot of cold air this week, it feels like we may never break away from our frozen temperatures. However, as cold as it has felt over the last several weeks, there are signs that this may be it for frozen temps…at least in the Twin Cities. 

While it doesn’t feel much like spring in Minnesota, the warmer weather will come. And when it does, you’ll want to make sure you have all the essential tools for gardening.

"I'm cold in Cold Spring." At a bar called Grumpy’s, in a city called Cold Spring, it's not difficult to tell the most common topic of conversation.

Another day of below-average temperatures in Minnesota on Tuesday but there's good news: the sun will make an appearance.

A chilly, wet morning is in store for Monday, though things will dry up by the early afternoon.
