It's another breezy day in April with slightly cooler temperatures for a high of 60 degrees in the Twin Cities metro area. Scattered showers on Tuesday afternoon are possible.

Spotty showers are possible overnight and on Tuesday. Frost is possible with the chance of some strong showers into the weekend.

Another breezy week is ahead, with a chance for scattered light showers in the afternoon on Monday. Late-day sunshine is possible with a high of 67 degrees in the metro area.

It was a gorgeous Sunday and Monday is looking pretty nice but bringing a chance of showers.

Temperatures are forecasted to warm up Sunday with highs peaking in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Expect plenty of sunshine for our Sunday before clouds increase on Monday. Monday will likely feature a strong south breeze and a few showers later in the day. Watch for a few light showers for Tuesday as well. Our midweek weather is shaping up to stay quiet, but a chance of showers returns for Friday.

Temperatures will stay chilly Saturday with warmer temperatures returning Sunday.

Saturday won?t be as windy as the past few days, but a slight breeze out of the northwest will keep a chill in the air. Sunday is shaping up to be the pick day of the weekend with highs that hit close to 60 degrees with sunshine and lighter winds. Another round of showers returns later on Monday.

It's a cold and windy Friday with a few scattered flakes possible later in the day. The high is 43 degrees in the Twin Cities metro, but with blustery breezes, wind chills are in the 30s. The start of the weekend is chilly, but temperatures try to warm up to the 60s for Sunday.

Friday is expected to be colder than average with a high temperature of 45 degrees. There is a freeze warning in place start Friday morning at 1 a.m. ending at 8 a.m. in the Twin Cities and most of the southern part of the state. Friday is also expected to be windy and mostly cloudy.

Thursday will be brighter with afternoon sunshine but still breezy and cool-ish, with a high of around 53 degrees in the Twin Cities. FOX 9's Cody Matz has your forecast.
