List: Mask policies for Minnesota school districts

Many Minnesota school districts are instituting mask mandates for the upcoming school year as the COVID-19 delta variant spreads. While some are requiring students and staff to wear masks, such as Minneapolis and St. Paul, others are recommending it or making it optional.

The Minneapolis Cider Co. opened in 2019 after a trip to Europe inspired the founders to create the same cider experience here. When the doors opened, there was extra space so the owners decided to put in a few pickleball courts. The pickleball leagues took off and two years later they?ve added more courts and an event center. The official unveiling is happening Friday September 10th at 3pm. Admission is free. There will be live music, s?mores, cider and of course pickleball.

The Minnesota Farmers Union has opened a new spot in Minneapolis? Mill District. It?s the first of its kind in the state and connects its guests to local farms like never before. Farmers Kitchen + Bar is in the former Spoonriver space across from the Guthrie Theater. The farmer-to-table eatery features a selection of fresh salads, sandwiches, picnic platters, beer and wine. There?s also a coffee bar serving a State Fair favorite, the Maple Cream Nitro Cold Press year-round, with an assortment of freshly baked pastries. The coffee bar opens at 7:30am while the restaurant is open from 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
