Many people immersed themselves in Vincent Van Gogh?s work when the traveling projection experience arrived in Minneapolis last year. Now the real thing is on display at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. ?Van Goh and the Olive Groves? focuses on several pieces he created during his stay at a psychiatric hospital in France. The show will be on display through September 18, 2022.

Kids of the 90’s this new ice cream shop is for you, and anyone else who enjoys a tasty scoop of ice cream. Dream Creamery is now open in Northeast Minneapolis. From the Travail team and led by Chef Nate Mickelson, the shop is getting just as much buzz for the ice cream as it is for the food on the menu, which includes burgers, lobster rolls, fries and cheese curds. The shop is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and is located at 816 Lowry Ave NE.

The one-day parking lot event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, which is a kickoff to the Kubota Machine Adventures inside the Mall of America. The indoor event runs now through July 21

Beer Dabbler founder opens a liquor store in St. Paul

The creator of The Beer Dabbler Festival, has opened the Dabbler Depot on West Seventh in St. Paul. It?s in the former Stransky?s Liquor location. The building underwent a major renovation to become the Dabbler Depot. It boasts a living wall that?s watered with the condensation from the beer coolers that stretch the length of the building. There?s a tap wall for sampling and a video production studio in back. The idea is to create videos about the products that can be accessed through QR Codes, but they?ll also host podcasts. On the other side of the glass wall is a coffee shop with locally made donuts and pies. The depot is open Tuesday through Sunday.

The St. Paul-based Circus Juventas is preparing for its big summer show called "Confetti," which runs July 29-Aug. 14. This is Circus Juventas' biggest production of the year. The sets and scenes this year are "over the top," the circus says.

Dick's House of Sport is an experimental store by Dick's Sporting Goods at Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka. It is among three of these stores in the country. The store has the same goods you're used to seeing at Dick's Sporting Goods but this store will give you the chance to try some of the things before you buy. There are batting cages, golf simulators, rock climbing walls and an outdoor field (a hockey rink in winter). The store also plans to host community events.
