Wild defenseman Ryan Suter, wife raise spirits at Ronald McDonald House

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Ryan Suter is a mover and shaker as a defenseman for the Minnesota Wild, but on Tuesday, he was a forward and even a goalie at the Twin Cities Ronald McDonald House.

Ryan and his wife, Becky handed out McDonald’s shamrock shakes to the happy families that came out to meet the Wild player.

But, Becky is the star Suter at Ronald McDonald House. She not only has a heart for the work there; she is on the board.

37 cents from each shamrock shake sold between March 7 and 18 will be donated to the cause.

While raising money and awareness is important, so is raising hope and spirits, which is what Ryan did with a little hockey.

The kids had a blast, Ryan and Becky were enjoying it and even the parents were smiling.
