(KMSP) - The Vikings struggled on offense on Monday night during the season opener in San Francisco, but the defense didn't fare too much better. 

Like a few games last season, their run defense was almost nonexistent at times. This week, they face the Detroit Lions, and that matchup will serve as a test for the secondary as they go face-to-face with one of the most dangerous receiving corps in the NFL (featuring Calvin Johnson).

Our Hobie Artigue spoke 1-on-1 with cornerback Xavier Rhodes, the guy who went toe-to-toe with Megatron a year ago and helped limit him to only 53 yards. In this interview, Rhodes grades that performance, and reveals if that last outing gave him confidence going into Sunday’s matchup.
