Minnesota Lynx championship parade route and broadcast info
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - After winning another WNBA title against the Los Angeles Sparks Wednesday night, the Minnesota Lynx are holding a parade to celebrate.
The celebration begins Thursday at 6:30 p.m., with a procession through downtown Minneapolis that ends at the doors of Williams Arena, where less than 24 hours prior the team was celebrating its fourth WNBA Championship.
PARADE ROUTE: The parade route takes the team down University Avenue, starting at the intersection of 12th Avenue S.E.. A subsequent celebration will be held at Williams Arena after the parade ends, with both events free to the public.
LIVE ON FOX 9: The parade and celebration will be broadcast live on Fox 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., then continue live on Fox 9+ at 7 p.m. The events will also be streaming on fox9.com/live and facebook.com/fox9kmsp.
