Ice thick enough for U.S. Pond Hockey Championships on Lake Nokomis

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - After thin ice pushed the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships back several weeks, the tournament is finally set to begin on Lake Nokomis on Friday. 

The puck drops at 8:30 a.m., when 240 teams from all over the U.S. and Canada will compete on 25 sheets of ice.
