Dalvin Cook, Everson Griffen ruled out vs Buffalo Bills

EAGAN, Minn. (KMSP) - Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook and defensive end Everson Griffen have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, head coach Mike Zimmer confirmed Friday. Zimmer said he expects center Pat Elflein to make his season debut against Buffalo, but said he will not start.

Cook was at practice Friday, doing some stretching work off to the side. Griffen was absent from the portion of practice open to the media.

PERFECT PRACTICE: Zimmer also said new kicker Dan Bailey didn’t miss any kicks in the team portion of practices this week, estimating he attempted 30 to 32 tries.
